I had a challenging sales situation, as it was a two bedroom house with one small bathroom in the house, a four-car garage on a ½ acre lot-and it was over 50 years old. Kris immediately informed me that it was important to prepare the house for the market.  Under her guidance, I had the house completely painted inside and outside, had the floors sanded and refinished, and took care of many small details per her advice. Kris was most remarkable ion her marketing efforts.  She had me thin-out the furniture and then she "staged" the house herself, hired a professional photographer, and had a beautiful color brochure printed.  She listed the house in the usual places, but also in specialized on-line sited. Over 25 potential customers attended her first and only Open House on a Sunday.  Two days later, we had a n offer, which she helped me negotiate. On Thursday we had a contract on the house for more than I had originally expected.  She was always helpful, friendly and professional in all her work contacts. She has earned the highest possible recommendation.

 First impressions do make a difference!!!  (Be it realtor, real estate, job interview, or just working, etc.)  Over email and phone, Kris and I met (contact via Weichert Realty) on a Saturday morning (when I normally like to sleep in).  She was on time, punctual, professional.  Even though the place that we walked through was a "dump", (but I was the one who wanted to see it), she in follow-up provided constant emails of properties in my interest and price range.

By odd chance, I on my own and locality found a property more to my liking, but Kris continued to pursue best options to include arranging one of the most thorough home inspections I have seen (~4 1/2 hours, and every valve, faucet, and electrical socket was checked, outside on the roof, in the attic, termite inspection, radon inspection, etc.; I'm a nuclear submariner but I learned a lot in a few hours.  Kris has very good and qualified connections to ensure what you are getting and trusted for your real estate/family investment money.

Kris also has connections with a very good financial contact in Vienna, Virginia who has been incredibly responsive in pushing paperwork to home offices, emails, and phone calls and responsive to me when I had questions.  Both pressed me to move quickly to lock in low rates; at this point I am happy that I did so, not withstanding tax write offs I don't recall having been able to borrow money at such low rates for a home.

My contract is still pending with the underwriters, but by confidence and trust with Kris and her contacts, I believe I will shortly own a single family home; I'm excited!!
